Model 20-50      $79.50                     Shipping: 59" x 2.5" diameter - 5 lbs

Model 20-50 Antenna Tensioner delivers 20-25 lbs of static working tension and a maximum of 50 lbs dynamic working tension.  They are designed to work with a wide range of popular amateur antenna configurations and are most effective on relatively light weight antennas that are end fed or have a center feed line weight of approximately 3 pounds or less.  With the Antenna Tensioner adjusted to 25 lbs static tension, maximum wire sag will be approximately 5% or less of the span length.  A low band center fed antenna with a center balun and unsupported RG-8 coax feed line usually has a center weight well over 3 lbs and a higher tension Model 30-100 is recommended to reduce sag to an acceptable level in the range of 5% or less of the span length.

Model 20-50-R      $74.50                     Shipping: 59" x 2.5" diameter - 5 lbs

Model 20-50-R is the “Reciprocal” version of the basic Model 20-50 Antenna Tensioner. It is designed to be the second unit in a two unit installation. Calibrated tension is set with a basic Model 20-50 and the Reciprocal unit automatically adjusts itself to the same tension but the to and fro travel distance is doubled by using two matching units. Reciprocal units have just one colored calibration reference marker at the end of the movable cable. Instead of an insulator termination, it has a stainless steel cable thimble for attaching a rope line. Its tension characteristics are otherwise identical to the Model 20-50 except it does not have the “soft stop” feature. Static (working) tension is set at approximately 25 lbs when the cable end marker is 14” out of the barrel and 20 lbs at 10”.

Model 30-100      $88.50                     Shipping: 59" x 2.5" diameter - 6 lbs

Model 30-100 Antenna Tensioner is fully adjustable and delivers 30-50 lbs working tension and a maximum of 100 lbs dynamic working tension.  They are designed especially for larger 160m, 80m and 40m antennas that are fed with heavy coax and a balun and have a total center weight over 3 lbs. When adjusted to 50 lbs static tension they will reduce sag to about 5% or less of the antenna span. They can also be used effectively on smaller antennas as long as the wire’s working load rating can handle the higher tension.

Model 30-100-R      $83.50                     Shipping: 59" x 2.5" diameter - 6 lbs

Model 30-100-R is the “Reciprocal” version of the 30-100 lb Antenna Tensioner and it is designed to be the second unit in a two Tensioner installation. Calibrated tension is set with the Model 30-100 and the Reciprocal unit automatically adjusts itself to the same tension but the to and fro travel distance is doubled by using two units. Similar to the model 20-50-R it has just one colored calibration reference marker at the end of the moveable cable. Instead of an insulator termination it has a stainless steel cable thimble for attaching a rope line. Otherwise its tension characteristics are identical to the 30-100 model. Working (static) tension is set at approximately 50 lbs when the end marker is 11” out of the barrel and 30 lbs at 5”.  It does not have the “soft stop” feature.
